About us
We are David and Sandra Koski and we are the proud owners of K2 Design Remodel. Originally from Colorado, we have happily lived in Central Oregon for 11 years. We thoroughly enjoy working together as a team and have done so for much of our 29 year marriage.
We started The Hardwood Floor Company here in Bend in 2013 and grew that company into the most respected floor covering business in Central Oregon. After the sale of that company in January of 2020, we started K2 Design Remodel.

The K2 team is incredible and they definitely live their "quality with kindness" motto! They were super helpful and patient when I got stuck on design ideas, did a superb job in coordinating with the cabinet, flooring, tile store and others, and installed all items on time and with quality. Moreover, they stayed within the budget (or let me know if one of my decisions would increase the budget) and timeline (and were very flexible when I delayed things). This was a painless experience. Our opinions mattered, the input we received was to point out issues that we may not have been aware of. The workers were respectful and efficient during the project. They worked hard to keep within our budget. I would recommend the Koskys to anyone who wants a remodel or construction project done right. The bathroom is beautiful.

We have had such a great experience working with K2 for two different projects. Our first was a large renovation of our kitchen and primary bathroom along with all of our hardwood floors and fireplace. Our second was our guest bathroom. Both projects turned out wonderfully and we are very happy with the end result and quality of the work done by the K2 team. All team members were extremely respectful during the projects, very clean and tidy with their work, and completed the projects on time.

Before choosing a company to do our kitchen remodel I did lots of research and talked with multiple contractors, and I'm so glad we chose K2. From start to finish, Sandra and David were organized, responsive, consistent, and professional. They replaced our countertops and sink, painted the cabinets, installed a new microwave/range hood (with new vent to outside), put in new lighting, painted the walls, and did a tile backsplash. The whole job took about two weeks, which was fantastic and felt quick and easy on our end. Their work is high quality, their pricing is fair, and I really appreciated Sandra's advice on design decisions. I love our new kitchen, and I'm grateful to K2 for their excellent work! I'm already thinking about the next steps in our home renovation, and I'll be calling K2 for these future jobs!

We had a fantastic experience working with K2 Design Remodel! They remodeled our two bathrooms in our home in Bend- we did new flooring, tiling, vanities, showers, tub- the works. Sandra, David, Jose, and Juan were amazing to work with. The project was on budget/time, looks great, and they were quick, efficient, detail-oriented, and great communicators. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our bathrooms, meeting us at stores to look through different samples, dealing with some giant and crazy to cut tile, etc. Sandra and David are kind, awesome people, and they seem to take great care of their team. We cannot speak more highly of K2 for our kitchen remodel. As first time home owners having our kitchen remodeled felt like a very intimidating process but working David and Sandra made every part of the process seamless.The quote and contract were both very detailed and explained to us so we knew exactly how the costs broke down, and where the budget were being spent, which made us feel more comfortable with such a big project.With a "post covid remodel" they made sure our project ran smoothly and efficiently by not starting demo until appliances and other supply chain issues had been ordered and received so we were never left stranded without a kitchen while waiting for something to actually be in stock. If an issue did come up they were always in touch and very communicative about any delays and were quick to find a solution, especially when it came to subcontractors and installers to keep all the moving parts running smoothly.Throughout the project they made sure thing were left tidy at the end of each day (as much as one can for a construction site) which was also greatly appreciated and made the upheaval of living though the remodel just a little easier.Upon finishing they were very thorough with all the attention to details, cleanup, and "buttoning up" of the project. We are beyond happy with how our new kitchen turned out, and feel so lucky to have our first big house project to have been with such kind and honest people. I would not, and have not hesitated to recommend choosing K2 for any home construction project.

David and Sandra of K2Design Remodel are THE BEST. They are gifted, honest, hard-working, kind people and are completely committed to excellence. They will be our contractor of choice as long as we live in Bend.K2 earned our trust by completing our whole-house remodel on-time and on-budget during the material shortages, price hikes and other unexpected challenges of COVID in 2020/21.The scope of their work was enormous, from initial structural stabilization to finish work. Every surface was touched, inside and out. Our kitchen was relocated and literally tons of new granite and stone installed.David obsessed over all the details and secured skilled subcontractors to make sure everything was executed perfectly throughout the entire house. The carpenters installed a 27' folding Andersen door and built a stunning deck, both of which required amazing precision and attention to detail. That same diligence is visible everywhere.We are thrilled with our home and so grateful to David and Sandra for partnering with us to help us achieve our dream.David and Sandra are excellent problem-solvers and are above reproach in their transparency and record-keeping. We cannot say enough good things about them!We have no doubt they will successfully tackle and excellently complete any challenge presented. Plus it will be fun, because they are great people!

K2 Design Remodel worked on my house over a two month period. We did a full first floor renovation including kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and structural remodeling. The interior project was well planned and communicated at every step. Every sub-contractor arrived on time and finished with the next sub-contractor arriving the next day. Every employee was kind and happy. K2 Design Remodel were extremely patient. They discussed options yet understood my wishes. Sandra's design talent and David's attention to detail gave me confidence throughout the project. The crew was here early and cleaned up appropriately after each workday. We can't say enough good about our experience with Sandra and David. We had a huge kitchen/wet bar renovation project that required a complete demo job. Not only were we right on schedule during the entire process, everything was clean and livable in the rest of our house (which is so hard to do during any house project). Sandra's organized scheduling and David's meticulous attention to detail gave us so much piece of mind during the entire process. It was so easy to trust them! Working with K2 design has been refreshing! They were upfront and honest with the cost, timeframe, and the reality of a home remodel.
